We are seeking a Telecom Administrator to join our team!

The Telecom Administrator will be responsible for the implementation and management of the day-to-day operations of Warrior's telecom technologies and services, specifically Ring Central. The Manager of Telecom will work closely with the business units to ensure solutions meet the business needs. They will participate in a wide variety of projects to support and maintain our organization's voice solutions.


  • Manage the day-to-day operations involving unified communication systems, carrier services, vendors, and infrastructure technologies.
  • Understand capabilities and constraints of Ring Central Cloud Solutions and maximize feature utilization to benefit our business.
  • Main contact for all incidents, requests and maintenance related to our voice platform.
  • Manage a wide variety of UC & Telephony systems including PBX/VoIP systems, SIP services, IVRs, Auto attendants, Ring Central, Microsoft Teams, conferencing, fax systems, wireless, IOT, cloud platforms and emerging technologies.
  • Monitor communications systems environment and be highly responsive with taking corrective actions when incidents happen.
  • Maintain accurate records of topology associated with the company's voice infrastructure.
  • Responsible for the management, administration, and reporting of the call accounting system database, upgrades, reports, and charge-outs.
  • Responsible for working with carriers and internal team on provisioning circuits, port orders, and MACDs.
  • Responsible for developing, refining, and testing business continuity strategies for continuous process improvements and to minimize system down time.
  • Assist with telecom budgets, quotes, and overall vendor management.
  • Plan and execute tasks related to various projects in voice domain including migration from legacy voice platform.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field experience.
  • Experience with Ring Central cloud-enabled infrastructure models for both UCaaS and CCaaS capabilities.
  • Proven technical and thought leadership for implementing Ring Central solutions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, creative, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in highly available and geographically dispersed voice architecture.
  • 5+ years of increasing telecom responsibilities in voice telecommunications background including SIP applications / SIP trunking and cloud-based telephony systems, including having been in a management role.
  • Hands on experience with VoIP solutions (i.e., Avaya, 8x8, Cisco Ring Central)
  • hands-on telecommunications administration covering the following technologies: PBX systems, call accounting, IVRs, Auto Attendants, Audio/Visual, VoIP, Contact Centers, cabling voice & data infrastructures, cellular services, network monitoring and troubleshooting.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft O365 and cloud services.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, concepts, and protocols to include qos, voip, SIP, Lan/Wan/SD-Wan, mpls, bgp, tcp/ip, udp,
